Norqain Wild One ###

Introducing the Norqain Wild ONE Skeleton 39mm

NORQAIN doesn’t really do subtle. And if you’ve been paying attention the past couple years, you know that’s actually a good thing. As the name might suggest, the brand’s original Wild ONE made some serious noise back in 2022, thanks to its ultra-light, ultra-rugged construction and unapologetically bold vibe. Now, just ahead of Watches & Wonders 2025, NORQAIN is shrinking things down with the new Wild ONE Skeleton 39mm, a technicolor series of high-performance sports watches that aren’t afraid to stand out.

Available in four color-splashed variants — Hyper Pink, Sky Blue, Mint (Limited Edition), and Purple Ice Blue — this new 39mm lineup takes everything that made the original Wild ONE interesting and injects it with fresh energy. Bright, bold, and built for impact, these watches aren’t background players. They’re made to be worn loud.

The Juice

Let’s start with the obvious, these watches are bright. Not “just a pop of color on the second hand” bright. We’re talking full-spectrum saturation. The Hyper Pink version has a black carbon cage, neon pink accents, and a matching pink rubber strap that feels more runway than racetrack. The Sky Blue variant leans cooler, pairing black and icy blues with a summer-ready vibe. Purple Ice Blue goes bold with a fully purple NORTEQ cage, offset by light blue shock absorbers. And the Mint? That one’s a stealth standout, limited to 400 pieces and powered by a darker, ruthenium-coated version of the movement.

And while the colors are what grab you first, there’s real tech under the hood. All four models are built around NORQAIN’s proprietary NORTEQ® case material (a carbon-fiber-based composite that’s six times lighter than steel, three-and-a-half times lighter than titanium, anti-magnetic, and bio-sourced). Each case is made from 25 parts and includes a rubber shock absorber and a sandblasted titanium core. All of that adds up to watches that weigh just 64 grams and can withstand 5000 Gs of impact, which means you can actually wear them while doing the extreme sports these watches are clearly designed for.

Inside each case is the COSC-certified Calibre N08S or NB08S, depending on the model. It’s a skeletonized automatic movement developed in partnership with Sellita, and while it doesn’t reinvent the wheel mechanically, it’s cleanly executed and visually interesting, especially through the open dial and sapphire caseback. Each version gets color-matched hands and Super-LumiNova to match the overall aesthetic, and it’s all wrapped up in a case that’s just 11.75mm thick and still manages 200 meters of water resistance.

Add in the textured rubber straps (no leather here — they’re 100% animal-free) and the customizable NORQAIN case plate on the side, and you’ve got something that feels way more considered than your typical lifestyle sports watch.

Final Thoughts

There’s no getting around it: the Wild ONE Skeleton 39mm is not for everyone. It’s loud. It’s modern. And it wears its design philosophy on its sleeve, or rather on your wrist. But for the people it is for, this collection is like Christmas come early.

What’s especially refreshing is that NORQAIN isn’t just slapping bright colors onto an old platform to chase trends. There’s a real commitment here to innovation, to materials science, and to delivering watches that are actually fun to wear. The 39mm case size makes it more approachable than the original, but it still has presence — and personality — in spades. In a market full of beige dive watches and “safe” heritage reissues, the Wild ONE Skeleton 39mm is a reminder that watches can still be exciting, experimental, and flat-out cool. Whether you go for the Pink, Blue, Mint, or Purple, what you’re really getting is a shot of adrenaline for your wrist.
